Can I still send FREE SMS from the website?
YES. The email2sms feature is another feature to help people who cannot access 160by2 due to restrictions at work. Our main feature, will always be sending FREE SMS from the website.
My message is not going. Please help!
In case you message is not being received, it could be because of the following:
a. Email ID mismatch - To ensure security, you can send the email only from the email ID you have registered with 160by2.
b. User Name mismatch - The second level of security is ensuring that you can send the email only, with the username you have registered with 160by2. Please check if it is entered correctly in the To-Address of your Email.
c. Recipient mobile number entered wrongly - Please check whether you have entered the recipient mobile number correctly. This is the number to which the mail has been addressed (before the .username@160by2.com).
Can I send messages to multiple mobile numbers?
Just like on 160by2.com, you can send messages to multiple numbers through Email2SMS.
Just enter each "number.username@160by2.com" seperated by a comma (,).
You can send messages to a maximum of 10 numbers, post which the delivery shall not happen.
What happens if the message I sent is more than the specified limit?
If you have sent a message longer than the specified limit, only the first part of message will be considered till the extent of the limit.
How do I send the email?
You can send the mail in the following format:
To: (receiver mobile number).(your registered username with 160by2)@160by2.com (a maximum of 10 numbers can be entered)
and your message shall be delivered, upto 80 characters.
How is the message sent?
The message is sent to our server, from where it is treated as any other 160by2 message.
